Gine - Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball is a popular franchise worldwide; with a wide history spanning from the original manga to anime series, video games, movies and more; I felt compeled into trying to draw one of the most under the radar characters in the series.

In the story, Gine is the mother of Goku (the main character) and while she does not do fighting in the only cameo she makes in the movie, she is a character that as left an impression on me because of the nature she posses as a saiyan that she is and wanted to try and give her a bit of a go to try my best and make her look cool :)

I tried my best to stay true to the original model that remains inspired by Akira Toriyama. Recreating such style was very difficult, but it´s a challenge I am glad I took when I made this piece.
